Sukkur: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sukkur Nasir Aftab on Thursday heard public complaints and issued orders to the concerned officers for redressal of their grievances on priority at the Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Office Khairpur.
The citizens presented their complaints and grievances related to theft, robbery and other criminal incidents before DIG Sukkur Nasir Aftab.
After listening to the complaints attentively, the DIG Sukkur Range issued orders to the concerned officers for immediate redressal, action on merit and to take necessary measures in accordance with the law.
On the occasion, SSP Khairpur Capt (R) Ameer Saud Magsi was also present. Necessary instructions were issued to the concerned officers to resolve public complaints and provide maximum relief to the citizens.
The DIG Sukkur Range directed the officers to hear the complaints of citizens on a priority basis and to ensure no delay in resolving their issues, warning that the strictest legal and departmental action would be taken indiscriminately against officers and officials found guilty of negligence.
“As DIGP Sukkur Range, public service, protection of citizens and timely redressal of complaints are among my top priorities,” he said.
