Lodhran:The district administration established three ‘cheap cart bazaars and public friendly sale counters to facilitate the citizens.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Syeda Amina Maududi and Additional Deputy General Asad Ali were directly monitoring the cheap bazaars under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abdul Rauf Mahr.
The district administration has established cheap bazaars in Ghosia Chowk Lodhran, Bukhari Chowk Kahror Pakka and Duniyapur in light of the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
The concerned municipal committee was ensuring cleanliness while three Assistant Commissioners were monitoring the bazaars. Fruits and vegetables were being sold at a lower price in the cheap cart bazaars while cheap vegetables are being sold from the public friendly sale counter.
District administration has installed big screens at public places to publicize the official rates of fruits and vegetables for public awareness in all three tehsils.
SMDs have been installed in Children’s
Park and Post Office Chowk in Lodhran.
