Chiniot: A meeting of the District Coordination Committee was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office to review of the performance of departments – including Agriculture, Health, Education, Social Welfare, Irrigation, Highways, Buildings, Public Health, Traffic Police, Municipal Corporations, and the District Council.
According to DC office, the meeting was presided over by Committee Convener and MPA Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan and DPO Dr. Naveed Atif.
Relevant officials briefed the meeting on their departments’ performance, ongoing development projects, public amenities, and progress on various schemes.
The meeting also deliberated in detail on key matters such as timely completion of development projects, immediate resolution of public grievances, effective inter-departmental coordination, and ensuring quality standards in government projects.
Committee Convener Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and the district administration directed relevant officials to pay special attention to public welfare projects and ensure the achievement of set targets.
