Multan: The divisional administration has finalized arrangements for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), here on Thursday.
A review meeting regarding the arrangements for the entry test was held under the chairmanship of Multan Division Commissioner Maryam Khan.
She instructed to make foolproof arrangements for the conduct of the medical entry test, stating that a record number of students will participate this time. Over 11,000 candidates are expected to take part in the medical entry test scheduled for September 22.
Considering the large number of candidates, the test will be conducted at four universities. Exemplary security and parking arrangements will be ensured at the examination centers. Walk-through gates will be installed at the centers. Shaded waiting areas and water facilities will be provided for parents and students.
The waste management company will ensure high standards of cleanliness while traffic police will plan routes inside and outside the universities.

DC Waseem Hamid Sindhu mentioned that examination material boxes will be kept under strict security in the warehouse. Besides the UHS seal, the district administration will also seal the boxes. Strict security will be enforced outside each center, and foolproof arrangements will be made inside.
It was briefed that female centers are being established at Women’s University and ISP, while male centers would be set up at MNSUA.
A combined centre for both male and female candidates will sit for the test at the center established at MUST University. Working has begun on the appointment of superintendents and monitors for the entry test. The meeting was attended by additional commissioners, additional deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, officers from the University of Health Sciences, and relevant department officials.
