BADIN:Divisional Director Information Hyderabad Sawai Khan Chhalgri on Wednesday visited the newly built Information office.
Information officer Sarfraz Samon, and Information Officer Irfan Ali Junejo were also present on the occasion.
Director Information took notice of the use of substandard material and the slow pace of construction work.
The Information officer apprised the Director of Information in detail about the newly built office building and said that substandard material had been used in construction work.
He said that construction of the office building had to be completed on 30th June 2022 but 70% work had been completed yet.
The information officer informed that an outdated drainage system had been installed in the building having no connection to electricity and water while the underground water tank was not built for water and no boundary wall was constructed and construction of the building was closed for one month.
DD Information on the occasion said that he would inform the buildings department about the usage of substandard material and pending construction work through a letter and also ensure to start of construction at the earliest so that the district Information office could be shifted to the new building.
