Lahore:A departmental promotion committee (DPC) board meeting was held at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) to review the promotion of CTD officials.
According to details, the promotion board approved the promotion of 25 CTD corporals to Grade 14 as under-officers, 13 corporals were promoted on a regular basis while 12 were promoted on officiating terms. The DIG CTD has issued the notification for the corporals’ promotion. According to the revised rules, the CTD corporals can progress up to Grade 19.
The IGP congratulated all the promoted corporals and expressed best wishes for their future and said that promotions of CTD corporals were completed with the special interest of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He directed the CTD corporals to respond to these promotions with even greater diligence and commitment to their duties. Dr. Usman directed that permanent elimination of elements involved in terrorism, sectarianism, and extremism, as well as their facilitators, be ensured.
The IGP further
emphasised that the pursuit of enemies of peace and order should continue, and no effort should be spared in bringing them to justice through intelligence-based operations.
