SARGODHA:District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem intensified the process of departmental accountability, with various disciplinary penalties imposed on police officers and personnel over the past three months for misconduct and other violations.
According to a police spokesperson, eight police personnel were dismissed from service, while a sub-inspector was demoted. Six police personnel were also awarded pay reduction penalties as part of the disciplinary proceedings.
In addition, 120 police personnel faced various departmental penalties, including censure, fines, forfeiture of service and other disciplinary measures. Warnings were also issued to 34 personnel.
