PESHAWAR: District Police Officer (DPO) of Lakki Marwat, Muhammad Ashfaq Khan visited several border checkposts near the Punjab province on Thursday to review the security arrangements.
The visit came in light of the current situation and recent incidents of terrorism in the district.
During his visit, the DPO inspected lockups, watch towers, and CCTV cameras installed at the checkposts.
He also interacted with the policemen deputed at these remote border areas and appreciated their efforts to maintain law and order in the region.
The purpose of the DPO’s visit was to boost the morale of the policemen and to ensure that they are fully prepared to handle any security challenges in the future.
The DPO emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant and alert at all times to prevent any untoward incidents.
