MUZAFFARGARH:District Police Officer Muzaffargarh Syed Husnain Haider will conduct an inquiry against alleged misconduct on part of a constable as a citizen put up application with DPO.
According to police sources, Mohsin Raza, a resident of Mehmood Kot has filed an application with the District Police Officer (DPO) Muzaffargarh, alleging misconduct by constable (S.K). According to Raza, the constable is accused of having illicit relations with Raza’s sister-in-law, (S). Raza claims to have forbidden the constable from visiting their residence due to this issue.
However, Raza alleges that in retaliation, constable S.K conspired with other police officials to falsely implicate him in an alcohol-related case, leading to Raza’s arrest. After securing bail and his release from the jail, Raza reported about these serious allegations to DPO Muzaffargarh through an application.
In response, the DPO Muzaffargarh took action by summoning the police station staff of Mehmood Kot and the applicant, Mohsin Raza, for an inquiry. The inquiry is scheduled to take place on Monday, wherein the DPO will thoroughly investigate the matter. This case highlights the importance of addressing allegations of misconduct and abuse of power within the police force.
