Dera ismail khan: The work on a new sewerage line in Muslim Bazaar is nearing completion as the Public Health Department steps up efforts to improve drainage in the city.
According to the Public Health Department, the new sewerage and drainage system in Muslim Bazaar cannot be made operational until the outfall work on Shami Road is completed. However, the work on the outfall is also progressing at a fast pace.
Once the Shami Road work is completed, the newly laid sewerage line in Muslim Bazaar will be made operational, officials said.
The project is expected to improve drainage in Muslim Bazaar and adjoining areas and help reduce sewerage-related problems faced by residents. The department said efforts were underway to complete the remaining work in accordance with the planned schedule.
