Faisalabad:A dyeing unit’s owner was fined Rs 300,000 for violation of Punjab Environmental Protection (Smog Prevention and Control) rules-2023.
The boiler of the unit located near Chak 109/R-B, Jaranwala Road was also closed by the environment protection agency here on Friday.
According to official sources, prohibited fuel material was being burnt in the boiler.
