Sialkot: Teams of the District Education Authority (DEA) Sialkot on Monday carried out inspections in different areas of the district to check compliance with the extended winter vacation orders in public and private schools.
According to a spokesperson,during field visits,all government and private schools were found closed in line with the directives.
The inspection teams compiled their findings and submitted reports to the concerned authorities.
Assistant Education Officers and Deputy Education Officers uploaded photographic evidence on the relevant portal to confirm implementation of the vacation orders.
The Punjab Minister for Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, had extended winter vacations in all public and private schools till January 19,2025(Monday) in view of prevailing weather conditions and advisories issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority(PDMA).
