BAHAWALPUR:The Divisional Peace Committee met under the chair of Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr. Ehtesham Anwar in Circuit House today to review arrangements for celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallalaho Alahe Wasalam in a befitting manner.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Zaheer Anwar Jappa, District Police Officer Bahawalpur Syed Muhammad Abbas, and members of the Divisional Peace Committee. Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar Zulfiqar Bhoon, Deputy Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan Shakeel Bhatti, District Police Officer Bahawalnagar Ali Raza, and District Police Officer Rahim Yar Khan Rizwan Gondal joined the meeting through a video link.
Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr Ehtesham Anwar, said that the life of Hazrat Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him is the prime example for us and we can gain success in both worlds by following his teachings.
He said that during Ashra Rahamatulil Aalameen, the 10-day celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallalaho Alahe Wasalam, various events including Qirat, Hamd, Naat competitions, and speech competitions on treating minorities with respect to be held at government and private educational institutions. The meeting was told that arrangements for 12 Rabi-ul-Awal processions and events will finalized.
