D I KHAN: The Dera police during various operations arrested eight, and recovered weapons and hashish.
On the special directives of District Police Officer Abdul Rauf Babar, the Paniyala police in a crackdown against criminals arrested Ali son of Nawaz resident of Rehmani khel and recovered 630 grams of hashish from him.
In another action, the police arrested Noor Muhammad son of Muhammad Khan resident of Mulakhel and recovered a repeater gun with 12 cartridges. A proclaimed offender, namely Fazal Raheem s/o Abdul Raheem resident of Katakhel was also arrested.
The Parowa police during a special operation recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition, and arrested five accused, including three suspicious persons.
