FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has removed encroachments from Millat Road and confiscated the material of the encroachers.
FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry said here on Monday that FDA has launched a vigorous campaign against the encroachment to restore original beauty of the city.
During this drive, the FDA teams removed all kinds of encroachments from Millat Road and confiscated material of the encroachers besides submitting challans against 20 shopkeepers to the court of Special Judicial Magistrates for taking further action.
The FDA teams also demolished cemented ramps erected by some residents in FDA City and warned them that they would be sent behind bars if they again established encroachments on state land, he added.
