Peshawar:Energy and Power Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here Wednesday organized e-open kachehri to bring transparency in the administrative affairs of government institutions and to resolve public issues promptly.
The open court was chaired by Secretary Energy and Power Nisar Ahmed and was attended by all the officers of the department, as well as heads and project directors of the department’s subsidiaries PEDO, KP Oil and Gas Company, Electric Inspectorate and KP Transmission and Grid System Company.
A total of 52 complainants from different districts of the province related to energy projects were discussed through telephone calls and the official Facebook page.
Secretary energy expressed the hope that the holding of open courts would help reducing the distance between the public and the institutions and to solve common issues.
He strictly warned all the officers of the department to take the public issues presented in the open courts seriously and resolve them immediately.
