FAISALABAD: Convener Technical, Automation and Initiative Committee FESCO Board of Directors (BoDs) Muhammad Ali Ranjha has said that in severe weather conditions, the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company was providing uninterrupted power supply to consumers, which is commendable.
Addressing the 17/31st meeting of the committee, he directed the FESCO officers to expedite work for new electrification, HT, LT schemes for the residential areas. He appreciated the operation staff for making best arrangements for power supply during Muharram-ul-Haram especially on the routes of mourning processions.
During meeting, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) FESCO Engineer Muhammad Amir said that measures were being taken to install load break switches in place of ‘D’ on longer feeders, which will disconnect the faulty part in case of feeder failure and emergency situations and connect rest of the feeders immediately to run.
He further said that the transformer reclamation workshop established at Mianwali circle is working in
full swing.
Chief Engineer Operation Muhammad Saeed told the participants that about 1634 two-phase transformers of 200-KVA and 177 transformers of 100-KVA were replaced up to June 30, 2024.
Board directors and committee members Mian Farrukh Iqbal, Iftikhar Ansari, Muhammad Babar Ikram and others were also present in the meeting.
