FAISALABAD:Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has claimed to recover Rs.2 million from the power pilferers here on Wednesday.
FESCO spokesman Tahir Sheikh said that FESCO teams detected power theft at 18 points in T&T Colony Satiana Road couple of days ago and got cases registered against the accused besides imposing heavy fine on the power pilferers under detection units.
He said that Sadar police after registration of cases started investigation whereas the FESCO recovery team succeeded in recovering Rs.2 million from the accused.
Rs.1 million fine was still pending against the accused and their electricity supply meters were detached which would be restored after full recovery of fine, he added.
