FIA arrests 2 over BISP fraud

Multan: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle Bahawalpur arrested two suspects involved in financial fraud, through impersonation as representatives of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), here on Sunday.

The arrested suspects, identified as Ali Raza and Muhammad Akmal, were engaged in various illicit activities and data theft.

According to the FIA officials, suspects were arrested during a raid in Bahawalpur and Lodhran. The FIA team seized devices, active SIM cards, mobile phones, and sensitive data, including identity cards, bank details of several women, and B forms of families. A case has been registered against the suspects.
