FAISALABAD: As many as 46 departmental stores were imposed a fine of Rs 117, 000 over selling edible
items at an exorbitant rate in various markets on Thursday. The district price control magistrates conducted 877 inspections in various bazaars and markets, and checked prices of sugar, flour, chicken, fruits and vegetables besides imposing the fine on violators.
