Kohat:Kohat Police on Tuesday arrested five accused persons and recovered arms and drugs from their possession.
According to a police spokesperson, SHO Police Station Muhammad Riaz Shaheed Shah, Dauran Khan, and his police team foiled an attempt to smuggle liquor in an operation on the Indus Highway. They seized a large quantity of liquor and arrested a drug smuggler, Zahid, a resident of Ali Zai.
The police also recovered 1 Kalashnikov, 3 pistols, and dozens of cartridges from the possession of the accused.
A case has been registered against the accuseds in Mohammad Riaz Shaheed police station.
