LAHORE: The transport department and the traffic police have intensified a campaign to ensure that no vehicle was fitted with a gas cylinder, imposing fines on five vehicles, an official told REPORTER on Sunday.
Administrator General Bus Stand Latif Khan said that even on Sunday they continued crackdown on cylinder-fitted vehicles, and five more vehicles were fine and impounded.
The administrator said that cylinder vehicles were being fined and impounded on a daily basis, adding that provision of safe travel facilities to citizens was the top priority of the government.
