LAHORE: The Punjab Food department has issued 1,266 e-permits in 15 days for interprovincial transportation of flour and commodities.
According to official sources here on Saturday, 4,163 metric tons of flour and white flour had been transported with 188 permits. Sources said that the licence of flour mills involved in illegal transportation of flour would be cancelled.
Zero tolerance policy is being implemented to check illegal interprovincial transportation of flour, they added.
