Lahore: Lahore General Hospital (LGH) Medical Superintendent Prof. Faryad Hussain has dismissed four employees from service for continuous absence from duty and negligence after completion of all legal formalities. Formal dismissal orders had been issued under the PEEDA Act following completion of the show-cause notice process. The dismissed employees are Abdul Basit, Lab Technician; Hafiz Muhammad Abrar-ul-Haq, Junior Technician; Shahzad Anjum, Pharmacy Technician; and Danish Ali, Record Keeper. According to the hospital administration, the employees were given full opportunity to present their defence and explanations, and the departmental action was taken after completion of all prescribed legal procedures. Prof. Faryad Hussain said that negligence in duty, absenteeism and carelessness in patient care would not be tolerated.
