Rawalpindi: In a heart-wrenching incident, City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani has taken strong action after elderly parents were allegedly abused and thrown out of their home by their sons.
According to the police spokesman, the elderly woman complained to the Civil Lines Police Station that her four sons Atif, Kashif, Saqib, and Ali had mistreated her and her husband, and forcibly removed them from their home.
Responding quickly to the complaint, SP Pothohar ordered the immediate arrest of the sons. The police detained the accused by using all means and further investigation was underway.
CPO Hamdani praised the police for their prompt action and condemned the abuse, describing the mistreatment of parents as “unimaginable and intolerable.”
