Sargodha: The funeral prayers of martyred police constable Fazal Ahmed were offered at the Police Lines Sargodha here on Thursday.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha, District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha, members of the Punjab Assembly, officers of law enforcement agencies, people from all walks of life, and a large number of police personnel attended the funeral.
Later, the body of the martyred constable was sent to his native town, Naseerpur Kalan, for burial.
Constable Fazal Ahmed had embraced martyrdom during a police encounter after exchanging fire with a notorious proclaimed offender within the Kot Momin police station jurisdiction.
