SARGODHA:Police busted a four-member motorcycle-lifter gang and recovered 19 bikes from them, here on Friday.
Police said that a team of Sillanwali police station, headed by SHO Zeeshan Iqbal, conducted a raid and arrested ring leader Umar Daraz and his three accomplices — Numan, Haider Ali and Usman — and recovered stolen bikes worth Rs 896,000 from them.
The gang was involved in dozen of motorcycle lifting incidents.
A case was registered against the accused while further investigation was under way.
