Multan: Delhi Gate Police have arrested members of the Danish Ghufran gang, traced five cases and recovered stolen property including four motorcycles and a mobile phone during a crackdown against criminal elements.
The action was carried out by Station House Officer (SHO) Delhi Gate Faizan Qayyum and his team on the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar. Police said modern investigative techniques and professional methods were used to trace the cases and identify the gang members.
The names and exact number of the arrested suspects have not been disclosed by police at this stage, as investigation is underway.
CPO Sadiq Ali Dogar handed over the recovered stolen property to the complainants after completion of legal formalities. The complainants expressed appreciation for the police action and thanked the police for recovering their belongings.
The CPO commended SHO Faizan Qayyum and his team for the successful operation and directed them to further intensify action against criminal elements.
He said all available resources were being utilized to protect the lives and property of citizens and ensure recovery of stolen property.
