BAHAWALPUR: Uch Police have arrested two members of a gang allegedly involved in a series of theft incidents and recovered more than Rs900,000 in cash along with other stolen property.
According to a spokesman for Bahawalpur police, the successful operation was carried out by a police team under the supervision of the senior police officials. ‘The suspects were traced and arrested through the effective use of modern technology and professional investigation techniques,’ he said, adding that the recovered cash and other stolen items would be returned to their rightful owners after the completion of legal formalities.
The arrested susepcts were involved in several heinous crimes. They were being interrogated by special police team. Further probe was in process.
