Lahore: The top position holders of Government College University (GCU) Lahore, who recently secured sweeping victories in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore’s
Intermediate First Annual Examination 2026, met with the university vice chancellor to celebrate their historic achievements.
The GCU Lahore dominated the board results with an outstanding success rate and A grades, claiming a total of seven top positions across multiple disciplines. During a special reception at the university, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Omer Chaudhry and Director Intermediate Studies M Siddique Awan formally congratulated the high achievers and their parents.
The Vice Chancellor commended the students for their hard work and dedication, emphasizing that brilliant students are the true pride of the institution and play a vital role in carrying the great Ravian legacy forward. The position holders who brought laurels to their alma mater include Syed Muhammad Mohi ud Din, Muhammad Ahmad Shoukat, Muhammad Ahmad, Syed Muhammad Murtaza Mehdi Naqvi, and Salman Khan.
Director Intermediate Studies M Siddique Awan also lauded the efforts of the faculty members and the intermediate administration for maintaining high academic standards, which resulted in 779 students securing A+ grades and 523 achieving A grades in this year’s exams.
