SIALKOT: The Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) on Monday signed an agreement with the University of Sialkot (USKT) and Classic School System to enhance educational opportunities and academic excellence.
According to the GCWUS, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zarrin Fatima Rizvi, Chairman Board of Governors, University of Sialkot (USKT), CEO Classic School System and Member Syndicate Faisal Manzoor signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
On this occasion, Faisal Manzoor appreciated efforts of Vice Chancellor Dr Zareen Fatima Rizvi for development of the university.
VC Dr Zarrin Fatima said that the faculty and students of the two institutions would not only be able to perform academic and practical activities together but will also be able to benefit from facilities.
Under the agreement, teachers and students of both institutions will work together on research activities like research projects, seminars, conferences and workshops and will also be able to supervise research. Along with thi
s, they will be able to benefit from the facilities of the laboratories in both institutions.
Registrar Prof Dr Ilyas, Director ORIC Prof Dr Ashfaq, Controller of Examinations Malik Gulshan, Chairperson of Fine Arts Department Raza Rehman and other academic and administrative heads of departments were also present.
