DERA GHAZI KHAN:Ghazi University Dera Ghazi Khan has appointed its first permanent treasurer since its establishment, with Muhammad Furqan assuming charge of the office on Monday.
Muhammad Furqan holds an MPhil degree in Finance and has over 17 years of experience in accounts and financial affairs. He has also served in key positions at the Punjab Vocational Training Council and Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology.
Vice Chancellor Ghazi University Professor Dr Ashfaq Ahmed termed the appointment an important development for the university’s administrative and financial system, saying it would improve financial management, administrative continuity and promote effective planning.
On the occasion, newly appointed Treasurer Muhammad Furqan expressed his resolve to utilise his professional expertise and experience to further strengthen the university’s financial system and discharge his responsibilities efficiently.
