LAHORE:The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad inaugurated girls hostel (extended) 2nd floor of “Amina Hall” here at city campus on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor said that the UVAS is striving to provide a comfortable accommodation to students. The hostel for girls comprised of 20 spacious rooms with all necessary facilities (wash rooms, kitchen, internet etc.).
He visited newly constructed 2nd floor and reviewed the available facilities. He also appreciated the role of building & works department for successfully completion of this construction work.
Prof Dr Aftab Anjum, Hostel Warden Dr Jaweria Ali Khan, Prinicipal Officer City Campus Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Project Director Shahnawaz Bukhari and a large number of faculty & staff members and students were present on the occasion.
Later, UVAS hostel management arranged acknowledgement ceremony in the honors of supportive staff of (Hostel Management). They performed their duties day and night during UVAS Flood Relief Campaign 2022 with full of dedication in their respective fields. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad appreciated their efforts & services.
