Lahore:The price of gold (24 carats) went down by Rs 700 per tola to Rs.275,200, while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs 600 to Rs 235,940.
According to data issued by the local chapter of All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold had posted losses of Rs.4,100 per tola and Rs.4,300 on Monday and Tuesday respectively, with two days losses standing at Rs.8,400 per tola. However, Wednesday saw the price go up by Rs.1,600 per tola.
Meanwhile, the spike in gold prices continues to impact both the local and global markets, with many consumers and investors closely watching the fluctuations.
