Dera Ismail Khan:Gomal University has equipped all its scientific and research instruments with an advanced QR code system on the special directives of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zafar Iqbal to facilitate access to research facilities.
A briefing on the initiative was held at the Institute of Chemical Sciences under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hidayatullah Khattak. Renowned educationist Professor Dr. Musa Kaleem Baloch was also present.
The vice chancellor said the initiative aimed to make the university’s quality research equipment accessible and beneficial for researchers across the region and the country. He added that details of the instruments and available tests would be accessible online as well as in printed form.
He stressed the need to guide young people in artificial intelligence and other emerging fields, adding that restoring Gomal University’s former prestige and transforming it into a model institution remained a shared mission.
The briefing was informed that details of all scientific and research instruments, including the tests they could perform, would be uploaded to the official websites of the Higher Education Commission and Gomal University.
