Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday on the occasion of Independence Day, announced that the gates of the Governor’s House will be opened to the public.
In a video message, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi invited citizens to join him at the Governor’s House Peshawar on the evening of August 13.
The celebrations will feature a cultural event starting at 10 PM, followed by a fireworks display at midnight.
Governor Kundi emphasized that this nation is a precious gift and urged everyone to celebrate the independence with enthusiasm and break the chains of fear.
He called on citizens to join the festivities in honor of their country and to partake in the celebrations marking Pakistan’s joy.
The event will take place from the night of August 13 to the early hours of August 14.
