MULTAN:Secretary South Punjab Saqib Ali Ateel Saturday said that eradication of poverty from rural areas and prosperity of the farmers were priorities of incumbent government.
While talking to peasants at south Punjab secretariat camp office Taunsa Sharif, the Secretary Agriculture South Punjab Saqib Ateel observed that ongoing development schemes of agriculture department were being monitored regularly.
The agriculture department schemes would be completed within stipulated time period. Problems of the farmers are being resolved at their doorstep. Saqib stated that farmers should keep visiting his office without any hesitation. The government has introduced special subsidies for development of agriculture in backward areas of south Punjab.
Meanwhile, he also inspected Rabi Crops, grown in Taunsa and directed field formations to continue guiding the farmers.
