Dera Ismail Khan:The district food department has intensified market inspections to monitor the supply and sale of government subsidised flour (atta) at officially approved rates in Dera Ismail Khan.
Under the supervision of District Food Controller Muhammad Azam Khan, Foodgrain Inspector Muhammad Sajid Khan Khokhar and Assistant Food Controller (Headquarters) Maheen Shahid conducted separate market inspections to review the distribution and sale of government atta.
Meanwhile, government subsidised flour has been dispatched from various flour mills for distribution among the general public through nominated atta dealers at the officially approved government rate.
The district food administration is monitoring the supply and distribution process to ensure the availability of subsidised flour to consumers at the prescribed price.
