Lahore: The Punjab Land Record Authority has increased the fee for Green Property Certificate from Rs 700 to Rs 950. The certificate will secure ownership rights. It will prevent fraud and forgery in property purchase and sale.
It will take 5 days to submit the application and verify it. Green certificates will be issued to property owners, housing society members and overseas Pakistanis.
According to PALRA officials, the scope of the green property certificate has been extended to 28 districts of Punjab in a phased manner and will be issued in 13 more districts soon.
PALRA Chairman Tariq Subhani said that the Green Property Certificate is a game-changer initiative, which is the guarantor of a developed Punjab.
