PESHAWAR:A police head constable was martyred when miscreants attacked a police post at Kingar Pull in the Bannu district late Tuesday night.
The Kingar Pull police informed on Wednesday that miscreants, armed with automatic weapons, attacked the police post and started indiscriminate firing at police. As a result of firing the head constable, Sardar Ali received multiple bullets and died on the spot.
Police said the miscreant escaped the area after police retaliated, adding that a search operation has been launched in the area to nab the perpetrators.
