PESHAWAR: Hamza Foundation (HF) Welfare Thalassemia Hospital on Thursday holds a seminar at Iqra National University to create awareness among people about thalassemia and the sufferings of affected patients and their families.
The seminar was also addressed by the Dean of Marketing of Iqra University, Dr Adil Adnan, Founder of Hamza Foundation, Ejaz Ali Khan and the Medical Director of the foundation, Dr Tariq Khan.
The speaker highlighted the sufferings and problems of thalassemia-affected patients and the problems confronted by their families. They also stressed society to realize the problems of these patients and join hands to help them.
They also asked people to conduct thalassemia tests prior to marriage and said that it would prevent the occurrence of thalassemia cases. They also appreciated the cooperation of Iqra University to help the Hamza Foundation to help patients with thalassemia.
