Lahore: The Horticulture Agency Lahore has illuminated Main Boulevard Gulberg with decorative lights to highlight the importance of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and pay tribute to the fraternal ties between Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia.
According to a handout issued here on Sunday, special content highlighting the Makkah Agreement displayed on SMDs installed along Main Boulevard Gulberg has drawn the attention of citizens, while green and red lights have beautifully highlighted the colours of friendship among Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia.
The Makkah Agreement marks an important step towards promoting peace, stability and defence cooperation in the region.
The agreement is a reflection of the government of Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements.
On the occasion, tribute was also paid to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
