MULTAN:Managing Director Horticulture Agency, Syed Waseem Hassan said that extensive tree plantation and improved maintenance of green belts are essential to creating a healthier urban
environment and mitigating smog. During a visit to the city’s green belts, intersections and parks on Wednesday, he said the agency was working to translate the Punjab chief minister’s green vision into
practical measures. He inspected the green belt and lighting arrangements along High Court Road and directed officials to improve grass maintenance, pruning and plantation along Abdali Road towards
Nawan Shehr Chowk. He also ordered improvements in cleanliness and landscaping at Allama Iqbal Park.
