PESHAWAR:Awami National Party (ANP) leader and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Tuesday called for dialogue to resolve political differences and end the prevailing deadlock, saying negotiations remained the way forward for political stability.
Talking to the media in Swabi, he said political differences required serious efforts to build consensus and address the province’s challenges.
Hoti said that the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had not considered it appropriate to discuss terrorism and other issues with the prime minister.
He said he had no objection to a fresh review of his five-year tenure as chief minister, but stressed that an impartial accountability process should cover matters relating to the past 13 years.
