ISLAMABAD:Chief Executive Officer Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Dr. Muhammad Amjad on Friday said that all steps have been taken to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the OIC conference scheduled to be held in Islamabad on March 22-23.
A cell consisting of senior IESCO officers have been set up at Central Control Room Islamabad to ensure 24-hour monitoring of distribution system, power demand and supply and uninterrupted power supply from March 21 to March 24, said a statement issued here.
The Central Control Room could be contacted on phone numbers 051-9250240, 051-9250241, 051-9250243 round the clock, he said.
He said the operation and construction staff would remain alert 24-hours for prompt response. Leaves of the officers and staff of the concerned offices have also been canceled to deal with any emergency, he added.
The IESCO chief said he would personally monitor all these operations.
