ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday removed the objections of Registrar Office on petition of Bushra Bibi, seeking security of her husband PTI chairman in prison.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq directed the Registrar Office to fix the case for hearing after removing the objections.
At the outset of hearing, petitioner’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa advocate said that Chairman PTI’s life was in danger as he had already been attacked in Wazirabad previously. He said that an application has been filed for the security and protection of PTI’s chairman.
The court overruled the objections of the Registrar’s Office and ordered that the petition to be fixed for hearing on October 5.
