ISLAMABAD:A two-judge bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday sent matter of contempt of court against deputy commissioner ICT to chief justice for formation of a new bench.
A division bench comprising Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the contempt of court case against the deputy commissioner for misusing of his authority in issuance of MPO order for the arrest of Shehryar Khan Afridi.
During hearing, Raja Rizwan Abbasi said that a new bench could be formed to hear this case as Justice Arbab had already announced verdict in the matter.
