PESHAWAR:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel on Tuesday visited Sub Jail Nowshera, and District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in Nowshera.
During visit to Sub Jail Nowshera, he assessed the provision of facilities and met with inmates and jail staff. He also instructed District Health Officer Nowshera to arrange prompt treatment for inmates suffering from mental and other medical conditions.
Later, he visited District Headquarters Hospital Nowshera and held a meeting with hospital staff, doctors, and patients’ attendants inquiring about patient care and the quality of services offered.
District Health Officer Nowshera Dr. Shoaib Khan briefed the caretaker minister about the provision of healthcare delivery system in the hospital.
Barrister Feroze Jamal also attended a Khuli Kacheri of District Public Health Engineering Department in Kakasahib. Matters regarding inadequate supply of clean water in was discussed on the occasion.
The caretaker minister directed public health authorities to address the matter and provide potable water to households situated in the area.
