DERA ISMAIL KHAN:The district administration has started inspections of government and private school buildings across the tehsil to assess their existing condition and compile a comprehensive record of their structural status.
The inspection drive is being conducted under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Dr. Muhammad Hamid Siddiq, with revenue staff and education department officials visiting boys’ and girls’ schools across the tehsil.
During the visits, girdawars, patwaris and education officials are examining the condition of school buildings, their construction status and other relevant aspects.
Data about each school is being collected on a prescribed pro forma, while GPS coordinates and photographs of the premises are also being documented to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Officials from the Revenue Department, Communication and Works (CandW) Department, Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) and Education Department are coordinating efforts to ensure the systematic completion of the inspection process and prevent any government school from being left out.
The district administration is compiling a reliable record of school buildings to facilitate effective monitoring and ensure that the collected information is submitted to the higher authorities in a timely manner.
