ISLAMABAD:The Inter-School Cricket Championship will be held from September 28 to October 14 in various grounds of Rawalpindi under the talent hunt programme of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
As many as seven teams from government schools and five from private schools of district Rawalpindi will chip in the event. The participating teams were selected through trials.
A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Tahir Farooq to review the arrangements for the championship, said a press statement issued on Wednesday.
Tahir Farooq said that school children under 16 years of age would participate in the championship and they would be given uniforms, refreshments and prizes.
